If you have been to Domain Dental recently for a routine check-up and dental cleaning, you have probably noticed a new, friendly face in our office. In November 2021, we welcomed our new dental hygienist, Stephanie Sereno. Sharing in our core beliefs and values to provide an unmatched level of care, Stephanie joins our dental team as part of our ongoing commitment to patients’ dental health.

Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at Latrobe University. As a registered Oral Health Therapist, Stephanie has gained experience from working in both public and private practice as well as attending regular further continuing education. Stephanie has also worked in Finland where she gained further experience in modern preventative techniques.

Heading up our new Hygiene Department, Stephanie will help us to better provide comprehensive patient care for complete oral health. During routine cleanings and exams, Stephanie will gently and expertly remove calculus and plaque from the surface of the teeth. To keep the teeth strong and healthy, she will apply preventive treatments, such as fluoride and dental sealants. This is of particular significance in children with their specific requirements of prevention and establishment of healthy, lifelong habits.

With dental education the very foundation to great oral health, Stephanie works to build a relationship with each patient. During her time with the patients, she will help teach the importance of oral hygiene and share valuable tips to help maintain oral health.

In her spare time, you most likely will find Stephanie spending time with her family, friends, and following her beloved Carlton football club.
