Stephanie – Oral Health Therapist
Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at Latrobe University. As a registered Oral Health Therapist, Stephanie has gained experience from working in both public and private practice as well as attending regular further continuing education. Stephanie has also worked in Finland where she gained further experience in modern preventative techniques.
Stephanie brings to the practice and particular skill set geared toward preventative dental maintenance of which she is most passionate about.
Heading up our new Hygiene Department, Stephanie will help us to better provide comprehensive patient care for complete oral health. During routine cleanings and exams, Stephanie will gently and expertly remove calculus and plaque from the surface of the teeth. To keep the teeth strong and healthy, she will apply preventive treatments, such as fluoride and dental sealants.
With dental education the very foundation to great oral health, Stephanie works to build a relationship with each patient. During her time with the patients, she will help teach the importance of oral hygiene and share valuable tips to help maintain oral health.
In her spare time, you most likely will find Stephanie spending time with her family, friends, and following her beloved Carlton football club.
Anita – Practice Manager
Anita is the consummate professional forged by over thirty years in dentistry. Her many talents include managing a very busy schedule whilst still incredibly accommodating everyones requirements. Anita has worked in the practice as a dental assistant and receptionist for twenty-five years. Every day we all benefit from her vast experience packaged up with her cool and calm demeanour. Anita has two sons and enjoys dancing, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren in her spare time.
Kelly – Dental Assistant
Kelly has been Dr Cataldo’s assistant for over twenty years. Its true to say that this close working relationship is key to the calm efficiency in the surgery. Quite often it seems that no verbal communication is required in the surgery such is the level of understanding that Kelly has for her craft. Kelly loves to keep fit and is devoted to her pet cat.
Cathy – Receptionist
Cathy loves a chat with her patients. Nothing is too difficult for this dynamic member of the team. Cathy is also qualified counsellor working with children and adolescents. Naturally performs both jobs with true professionalism and dedication (often at the same time!). Cathy is married and with two adult children and counts amongst her interests musical theatre and cooking.
